Okay, so I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile! All the artwork featured here is the artwork of Val Freire who is the woman behind the runes and who helped to inspire the books due to her friendship with Cassie. The artwork above is thus some of the original interpretations of the characters, before the novels were even out or very soon after I think, and she worked with Cassie on them.
So now that we’ve got the movie I really wanted to go compare the characters to these “original designs" of them, just for fun.
Plus, y'know my brain has previously not been able to formally process whats shown here so, wowwie fandom thanks for that!
